On Friday, China’s central financial institution took steps to help the yuan, which has been dropping floor, with its depreciation being considered as a possible tailwind for bitcoin (BTC).
The Individuals’s Financial institution of China announced that it’ll cease buying authorities bonds this month as their demand now overshadows the provision.
Consultants stated the transfer displays policymakers’ discomfort with the sliding bond yields, which transfer in the wrong way of costs, and the ensuing depreciation in yuan.
