“Evil” Anna Bligh is to leave the banking lobby after eight years of political profiteering.
Former Queensland premier Anna Bligh will retire from the Australian Banking Association after eight years of lobbying for the major banks, a period when she helped restore the reputation of a sector battered by the Hayne royal commission.
The ABA is the peak industry body representing National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, Westpac and many smaller lenders.
Evil Anna was thought to be recruited for about $600k per annum. But her pay is likely to have soared over the eight years.
It’s probably fair to say that Evil Anna waltzes off into the sunset with $6m while she drew down on her public pension.
For that, she has delivered a marvellous inventory of public policy destruction.

Fairly spectacular distortion of the general public curiosity there.
Presumably, Evil Anna has been poached to run Satanic PR and is engaged on his return to Heaven.
