Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), based and co-led by Zuckerberg and his spouse Priscilla Chan, reassured its workers after many started expressing issues about current modifications at Meta as the corporate scales back its DEI commitments.
In response, The Guardian studies that CZI’s HR chief Marck Gundacker advised workers that “Meta and CZI are and can stay separate organizations with totally completely different and impartial commitments. Choices made at Meta don’t influence how we function at CZI. Like on this case, Meta’s modifications to its DEI efforts does [sic] not influence ours.”
